AfriBridge Connect was born out of a shared frustration the wasted potential of Africa’s skilled youth due to fragmented credential systems, language divides, and limited access to cross-border opportunities.
Founded by three Ghanaian scholars (Abigail Osei Owusu, Henry Ekow Yawson, Pascal Gaglo), the initiative began as a student-led idea that grew through rigorous research and collaboration. In 2025, AfriBridge Connect proudly represented Africa as the sole finalist in the Geneva Challenge under the theme “Migration Challenges” and eventually emerged as the 1st Prize winner in the 2025 challenge.
To build sustainable digital mobility solutions that connect, empower, and enable Africa’s youth to thrive across borders.
A future where every African talent is recognized, connected, and empowered to contribute to continental development without barriers.
Across Africa, millions of qualified individuals encounter invisible borders that hinder mobility and recognition.
