In a world where opportunity too often stops at borders, AfriBridge Connect is breaking new ground by building digital bridges for Africa’s skilled youth.
The platform addresses a long-standing challenge: millions of African graduates migrate within the continent but face credential mismatches, linguistic barriers, and lack of job alignment. These barriers lead to “brain waste” skilled individuals working far below their qualifications.
AfriBridge Connect tackles this head-on through three key features:
- Credential Recognition – A secure repository that digitizes and verifies qualifications using AI and blockchain technology.
- Language Access – Real-time bilingual (English–French) translation and voice-enabled navigation for inclusive communication.
- STEM Job Matching and Mentorship – Smart algorithms that connect migrants to relevant jobs, mentors, and peer networks across Africa.
By blending technology, inclusion, and policy integration, AfriBridge Connect supports Agenda 2063’s call for an integrated, prosperous, and peaceful Africa.
“We want young Africans like Fatou, a computer science graduate from Côte d’Ivoire, to use her verified digital profile to find a coding job in Ghana within days not years,” says co-founder Henry Ekow Yawson.
